Testerup is one of many “get-paid-to-play” apps I use to earn money. So far, I haven’t had any problems, and I’ve been paid four times, totalling £403.55. I started my very first offer on 14 April 2024, and my last payment was on 26 February 2026.
Before I go any further into my personal review of Testerup, I’d like to quickly explain—especially for those who are not familiar with it—what Testerup is and how it actually works.
What Is Testerup?
Testerup is a legitimate platform operated by Aestimium GmbH that pays users to test mobile games, apps, and surveys. Despite the branding, you’re not really “testing” games—you’re essentially completing promotional offers. Companies pay Testerup to drive users to their apps, and Testerup shares a portion of that revenue with you.

My Personal Experience with Testerup
To give a fair and transparent perspective, I’ve personally used Testerup over an extended period—and I was always paid.
Between 14 April 2024 and 26 February 2026, I received 4 payments, totalling £403.55. (Please check here the payment proof 1, 2, 3 & 4)
It’s important to put that into context, though.
My usage was far from consistent. During that time, I:

Went through two surgical operations

Was forced to leave a rental property

Eventually purchased a house
So overall, my effort was intermittent and irregular.
Because of that, I believe it’s realistic that someone with more consistency and focus could potentially reach similar earnings in a shorter timeframe—around 14 to 16 months, or possibly even less.
What is the Real Earning Potential with Testerup? (Reality vs Ads)
Testerup ads often claim you can earn £100–£200+ easily, but in my honest opinion, a more realistic expectation would be earning that amount per year, not quickly or effortlessly.
While some people may earn more, they often do so by purchasing in-game packs to progress faster—something I’m not willing to do. Because of that, if you see someone claiming they earn £300 or more per month, it’s best to be sceptical.
👉 Realistically, this is not a job replacement—it’s pocket money at best.
Is Testerup Legit or a Scam?
Short answer: It’s legit
